Sticker or filmed: the difference you will notice

A sticker app keeps the same cut-out Santa no matter what your room looks like: you size him, place him and match the light yourself. That is why parents in Reddit threads mention blurring the result afterwards. AR apps animate a 3D Santa that moves well but looks animated next to your real furniture.

On this site the model redraws your photo as a night-camera frame with Santa inside it, lit by your own lamps and tree, then films ten seconds from that frame. Santa walks across your floor and the camera never moves. The trade-off: each video is made fresh, so watch it once before you show it, and use a retake if you want a different take.

Which one to pick

  • Free, and a photo is enough: iCaughtSanta's three free stickers, or this site's free preview picture (watermarked).
  • The kids set up a camera and expect footage: a filmed clip from that camera's angle. Make one here, or see the doorbell version.
  • You want a hand-made doorbell video and can order early: Front Door Santa, if your style is in stock.
  • Kids old enough to hold the phone and play: Catch Santa AR, where they can watch Santa move through the room live.
